Use Cadey for legitimate, lawful business. Do not use it to break the law, harm people, deceive your end users, attack our systems or other tenants, or for high-risk decisions without human oversight. Breaking these rules can lead to suspension or termination.
1Overview
This Acceptable Use Policy (the “AUP”) is incorporated into the Terms of Service between you and Schwerd Capital Holdings LLC, doing business as Cadey.ai (“Cadey”). Capitalized terms have the meanings given in the Terms. You are responsible for your own use of the Service and for your End Users' use. We may update this AUP from time to time to address new risks, abuse patterns or legal requirements; the current version always applies.
2Prohibited content
You may not use the Service to create, upload, store, transmit, or make available content that:
- is unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, or that promotes illegal activity;
- infringes or misappropriates any patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other intellectual-property or proprietary right;
- violates the privacy or publicity rights of others, or discloses personal or sensitive information without authorization;
- sexually exploits or endangers minors, or constitutes child sexual abuse material (we report such material to the authorities as required by law);
- harasses, threatens, defames, or incites violence against, or promotes discrimination or hatred toward, any individual or group;
- contains malware, ransomware, or other malicious code, or that facilitates phishing or other deceptive practices; or
- promotes or facilitates regulated or dangerous goods or activities in violation of applicable law (such as illegal weapons, drugs, or gambling).
3Prohibited conduct
You may not, and may not permit anyone to:
- violate any applicable law, regulation, sanctions program, or export-control requirement, or use the Service for the benefit of a sanctioned party or region;
- send unsolicited bulk or commercial messages (spam), or violate the CAN-SPAM Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, anti-spam laws, or marketing-consent requirements;
- misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or impersonate any person or entity;
- collect or harvest information about others without authorization, or use the Service to build or enrich a dataset for unlawful or deceptive purposes;
- resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to a third party except as expressly permitted, or use it to operate a service bureau or competing product; or
- use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair it, or interfere with any other party's use of it.
4Security and platform integrity
You may not:
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, computer systems, or networks connected to the Service, or to data belonging to other tenants;
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach or circumvent any security or authentication measure, tenant isolation, rate limit, or usage quota, except under a security-testing program we have authorized in writing;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service or its models, or attempt to extract source code, model weights, prompts, or training data, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law;
- use automated means to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use or that our documentation does not permit, or remove or obscure any usage or attribution notices; or
- introduce any virus, worm, or other malicious or harmful code into the Service.
If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it responsibly to security@cadey.ai and give us a reasonable opportunity to address it before any public disclosure.
5AI-specific rules
Because the Service includes AI features, you additionally agree not to, and not to allow your End Users or agent configuration to:
- attempt to manipulate, jailbreak, or circumvent the agent's grounding, safety, or content controls, or to induce it to generate prohibited content;
- attempt to extract another customer's data, the agent's system instructions, or confidential model information through prompts or other inputs;
- configure the agent to impersonate a specific real individual without authorization, or to conceal that it is an automated system where the law requires disclosure;
- use the Service to generate or disseminate disinformation, deceptive synthetic media, or content designed to defraud or mislead; or
- use AI Output in a manner that you have not reviewed for accuracy and appropriateness when it affects your End Users.
6High-risk and prohibited uses
The Service is not designed or authorized for use as the sole basis of decisions in high-risk domains. You may not use the Service, without qualified human review and appropriate safeguards, to make or materially inform decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about an individual, including in:
- credit, lending, or other financial eligibility;
- employment, hiring, promotion, or termination;
- housing, insurance, or eligibility for public benefits;
- healthcare, medical diagnosis, or treatment;
- legal advice or the practice of any licensed profession; and
- any application where a failure could lead to death, personal injury, or severe physical, environmental, or property damage.
You are responsible for determining whether your use is appropriate and lawful and for implementing human oversight where required.
7Responsibility for end users
You are responsible for the conduct of your End Users and for ensuring your use of the Service, including the content you make available to your agent and the way it interacts with your End Users, complies with this AUP and applicable law. You must provide any legally required notices to your End Users and obtain any required consents.
8Enforcement
If we believe a violation of this AUP has occurred, we may, with or without notice, remove or disable offending content, throttle or suspend the affected functionality or account, or terminate the agreement, as described in the Terms of Service. We will tailor our response to the severity of the issue and, where practicable and lawful, give you an opportunity to remedy it. We may also report unlawful activity to law enforcement and cooperate with lawful investigations. Nothing in this AUP limits any other remedy available to us.
